Tangshan meat rice recipe

Meat rice is a dish in which some meat is added when cooking rice to make it taste better. Of course, in addition to meat, you can also add shiitake mushrooms, mushrooms and other foods during the process of making meat rice to make the rice more delicious and make people love it more. Below, we will introduce in detail the three more common meat rice recipes: shiitake mushroom and pork belly rice, home-cooked meat rice, and mushroom meat rice.

1. How to cook rice with mushrooms and pork belly

1. Wash the dried mushrooms and soak them in water for later use (don’t pour out the soaking water, save it for adding to the rice, remember). Cut the green onion and ginger into shreds and set aside. Cut the carrots into pieces (about the size of a coin, not too small).

2. Cut the pork belly into pieces (it is best to cut the pieces two or three times larger than the carrots). Prepare a pot and boil half a pot of water. Put the meat in and blanch the blood foam and impurities. Remove the water and set aside.

3. Then add oil to the pan and stir-fry the pork belly until it turns slightly golden. Then add shredded scallion and ginger, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, cooking wine, and rock sugar and stir-fry! Add water to cover all the ingredients, add two or three spoons of salt, and boil until the carrots are soft and the soup is absorbed (do not add too much soup because you need to add the water from the dried mushrooms)

4. Wash the rice and drain the water. Next, cut the soaked mushrooms into shreds and mix them with the rice. Then pour the cooked meat directly on the rice, and then add the water used to soak the mushrooms until it just covers the meat! It’s best to use an electric pressure cooker. Then just wait for the rice to be cooked, mix the meat and rice thoroughly and you can eat it!

2. How to make homemade meat rice

1. Wash the rice and soak it in the same amount of water as for steaming rice for 1-2 hours (several different types of rice are added for nutrition)

2. Wash the dried shrimps and soak them in water to remove excess salt. Set aside. Soak the black fungus and cut it into small pieces. Dice the potatoes, mushrooms and pork belly. Chop the green onions and ginger (if you like to eat pork skin, you can also cut the remaining pork skin in it)

3. Use a wok and add the usual amount of cooking oil, add chopped green onion, ginger, and dried shrimps and stir-fry until fragrant. Then add diced potatoes, diced meat, and diced mushrooms and stir-fry. Then add white wine, soy sauce, sugar, and salt and stir-fry. Put it into the pot prepared for steaming rice and stir with the rice. Then add the fungus and start steaming.

3. How to make mushroom meat rice

1. Wash the rice and set aside. Soak the pine mushrooms in hot water and wash them repeatedly (remove the roots and stalks as they contain sand). After washing, soak them in warm water. Add some chopped green onions and pork belly (it is best to use pork belly as it is fragrant. I used the pork belly that was in the refrigerator this time) and cut it into thin slices.

2. Put some oil in the pan and stir-fry the chopped green onion and pork slices.

3. After the meat slices change color, add pine mushrooms and stir-fry together.

4. Add the water used to soak the mushrooms (refer to the amount of rice, which is about the same as the amount of water we use to steam rice in our daily life), add salt, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and bring to a boil.

5. Put the rice into the rice cooker (a pressure cooker will give the best taste), pour in the cooked soup, press the steam rice button, and the meat rice is ready.
