I ordered it medium rare, and when I cut it open, the center of the steak was dark red. Is it a bit overcooked?

The steak is lean and not too fat, so it has a tough texture. Plus, the steak is fried first and then boiled, which makes it easy to overcook the steak!

The sauce is milky white with a main flavor of butter. It is very creamy and rich. When paired with a fried egg, you can dip the French fries in the sauce and egg sauce, which tastes great. But the sauce became more and more greasy as I ate it, and the sauce was so strong that it took away the meaty flavor of the steak itself.

Fried Clams with Lemon

The clams were big, with the meat sticking out of the shells. They were sweet and fresh, and the "gravy" would splash out when you bite into them! The sauce was full of the aroma of butter, lemon, vanilla, and coriander. The boss came over and suggested that we order the sauce with bread and fries!

Octopus Salad

The ingredients are very rich, including octopus cubes, cauliflower, onions, carrots, coriander, black olives, etc., seasoned with olive oil and vinegar, which is very appetizing.

The environment inside the restaurant is bright and comfortable, different from traditional Portuguese restaurants.

So I went to try this Porto restaurant which has been praised by many people. I ordered the most recommended dishes, suckling pig stuffed with rice, bacalhau cheese balls, Portuguese baked breaded chicken, and several fried cheese Port and durian mille-feuilles. It was very good. The suckling pig was quite big, the skin was crispy and tasty, but I thought it was a bit fatty. The bacalhau and cheese puffs were both fried deliciously.

Restaurante ESCADA

There were a small number of customers waiting for a table outside the door. For safety reasons, we asked two female diners who had just walked out of the restaurant and were still discussing the food. They thought the price was a bit high, but the taste was good. They especially recommended our Portuguese roast suckling pig, saying it was delicious. We waited for a few minutes before we were seated on the second floor. The chef recommended dishes to us as we passed the stairs.

The brand of Portuguese soda is called Sumol, it has a sweet passion fruit flavor and tastes good.

I would like to recommend the Bacalhau Balls here. They are the best I have tasted in Macau so far. They are super rich in Bacalhau flavor, and you can taste a little bit of fish fiber in every bite. They are different from the ones I usually eat, which are just like fried potato balls without the salty flavor of Bacalhau. They are really delicious!

The Portuguese baked suckling pig skin is also very crispy and delicious. The pork is juicy and fragrant without any smell. The portion is quite large. It is served with golden crispy fries and a small ball of fried rice. I was so full after eating it!

Portuguese restaurant A Lorcha

The Portuguese cuisine Boat House Restaurant recommended by Michelin is located near the A-Ma Temple and you can go sightseeing on the way.

First I tried the octopus salad, which is made of raw onion, cooked octopus, spices, vinegar and spicy sauce. It tastes a bit spicy, which covers the special taste of raw onions. If you don’t like onions, I don’t recommend eating this.

The free bread is very soft and tastes great when eaten with salad.

Order half a bottle of fruit red wine first. The taste of the wine is not too strong and it is easy to drink.

Afterwards, we ordered octopus salad, African chicken, seafood risotto, Spanish clams, and lamb and red wine stew, a total of five dishes.

I particularly like this salad. I love octopus and the flavor goes well with it. It’s not too hard when eaten with bread. The bread noodles can be eaten with boiled clam juice, both are delicious and everyone praises it.

Seafood Risotto with African Chicken

Everyone praised the seafood risotto. It didn’t look very good when I first saw it, but when it was cooked, there were many kinds of seafood in it and all the essence was in the sauce. It's really delicious when eaten with rice. The African chicken is so tender and delicious. It's worth recommending!

Lamb and red wine stew, the lamb is relatively large, tender and smooth, and the flavor is quite strong!
