1. Peel the onion and soak it in cold water for ten minutes (try it, it won’t irritate your eyes when you cut it), then cut it into shreds; add a little water to the eggs and mix well.

3. Heat a small amount of oil in a pan, add tomato juice, bring to a boil, stir into a paste and pour over the onions and eggs.

2. Borscht

Ingredients: 400 grams of beef, 100 grams of onion, 150 grams of potato, 150 grams of cabbage, 250 grams of tomato, 100 grams of tomato sauce, a little salt, MSG, sugar and pepper. Preparation method:

Wash the beef and put it into the pot, add some vegetable spices (onion, carrot, celery) and water, and cook on the fire. When the beef is fully cooked, take it out, drain the water and cool it thoroughly, then cut it into thin slices. Filter the soup with a fine sieve and set aside.

Chop onions, potatoes, cabbage and tomatoes into cubes and set aside. Take a long-handled pan, add vegetable oil and heat it on the fire, add onions and fry until slightly red, add tomato sauce and continue frying.

When it turns deep purple, add the reserved beef broth, potatoes, cabbage and tomatoes, put it on the fire and simmer slowly. When the vegetables are crispy and the soup is thick, add salt, monosodium glutamate, sugar and pepper to season.

After it's cooked to your taste, boil it again, put it into a soup bowl, add a few slices of beef, pour some sour cream on it and serve. Key points: Tomato sauce must be stir-fried thoroughly, and soup should be cooked over low heat until it becomes thick.
