How to make braised beef

1.Ingredients: beef tendon.

2. Spices: onion, star anise, bay leaves, cardamom, cinnamon, dried red pepper, and Sichuan pepper.

3. Wash the beef and soak it in clean water for 1 hour, changing the water once in the middle.

4. Pour enough water into the pot, add the beef, bring to a boil and continue cooking for about 5 minutes until all the blood is released.

5. Pick up the beef and rinse off the foam on the surface with clean water.

6. Put all the spices, onion, ginger, soy sauce, sugar and beef into the electric pressure cooker, and pour in clean water. The water should cover the beef; adjust to the stewing mode and cook for 20 minutes.

7. Take out the braised beef.

8. Filter the brine and refrigerate it. You can use it to brine other foods next time.

9. Finished product.
