1. Chop the ribs into sections, rinse them clean, put them in boiling water and cook for 2 minutes to remove the blood foam. Take out the ribs and rinse with cold water.

2. Pour enough water into the pot, put in the ribs, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and cook for 2 hours, then start processing the yam.

3. Wash and peel the yam, cut into 0.4 cm thick slices. To prevent the surface of the yam slices from oxidizing and turning black, soak them in clean water, wash off the mucus, and drain the water.

4. Pour in yam and pork ribs and cook together for 15 minutes.

5. Wash and core the large pear, cut it into slices of the same size as the yam with the skin, pour them into the pot, and cook the three together for another 15 minutes.

6. Season with salt before use.
