How to make marble cake

How to make marble cake

Our lives cannot be separated from friends, and gatherings among friends are inevitable. Having a meal together is a happy thing. We can sit together and talk about everything. When having a meal together, most people would choose to go to a famous restaurant. But if you can do it yourself, I believe your friends will be happier. So, here I will show you how to make marble cake.

1. Apply a thin layer of butter (not including the amount) on the inner wall of the mold, put it in the refrigerator, and after the butter solidifies, take it out and sprinkle it with high powder. After the high powder covers the inner wall of the mold, pour out the excess high powder and put the mold in the refrigerator for later use.

2.12 Soften the butter, beat it into a paste with an egg beater, add sugar, and continue to stir evenly

3.21 Add the shaved lemon and orange zest and mix well

4.1 Add the sifted low flour and baking powder to the butter and egg mixture in small amounts several times, and mix well with a rubber spatula. Stir thoroughly each time you add until there are no lumps in the flour. Note that there will be flour at the bottom of the basin, so use a spatula to scoop it up and mix well.

5.2 Beat the eggs and add them to the butter in small amounts several times. Stir thoroughly each time to make sure the egg and oil are evenly mixed.

6. After all the flour is mixed in, the batter is shiny and uniform

7. Pour butter, cocoa powder and milk into another mixing bowl and mix well.

8.1 The mixed chocolate batter is also very uniform and glossy

9.2 Take about 1/4 of the batter mixed in step 6 and add it to step 7. Mix well with a spatula.

10. Add the white batter in step 6 into the mold in four parts, about 1/3 of the height of the mold.

11. Add the cocoa batter to the joints of the white batter in four places

12. Stir gently with a spoon to mix well. (In this step, I was worried that the batter would be mixed too much, so I didn't stir it very well. It turns out that I need to stir boldly here. I scooped up the white batter below and tried to blend it with the cocoa batter, but be careful not to mix it completely~~)

13. Pour the remaining white batter onto the mixed batter, smooth it with a spatula, place a rag on the workbench, and knock the mold 2 to 3 times.

14. Put it in the oven and bake at 180 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. (In the last 10 minutes, the cake started to burst with excitement, and I felt so relieved, haha~~)
