How to make the double-color steamed buns with milk flavor

1. Dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it stand for about 5 minutes to activate the yeast;

2. Divide the flour into two equal parts, divide the sugar into two equal parts, and add cocoa powder into one of them;

3. Add half of the yeast solution to each mixture, then add the milk little by little, stirring while adding until it becomes a cotton-like state with appropriate wetness and dryness;

4. Mix the two portions of noodles evenly;

5. Knead each into smooth dough, cover with plastic wrap and place in a warm place to ferment;

6. When the dough is about twice as large as it was before fermentation, you can check the dough. If there are a lot of honeycomb structures as shown in the picture, it means the dough has fermented.

7. Knead the dough again, exhaust the air, and then relax for 5 minutes;

8. Roll the white dough into a thin rectangular slice;

9. Roll the cocoa flavored dough into a similarly sized rectangular slice, then stick two slices together.

10. Roll it up tighter and make it uniform in thickness (you can also roll it with the white color inwards and the cocoa flavor outside);

11. Cut into equal-sized pieces and shape them. The two ends can be shaped into flower shapes.

12. Pour water into the steamer, place the steamed bun dough on the sieve at intervals, cover the pot and let it stand for 20 minutes for secondary fermentation. After the secondary fermentation is completed, turn on medium to high heat, steam for 15 minutes after the steam comes out, turn off the heat, do not open the lid, and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes before opening the lid;

13. The appearance after coming out of the pot is as neat as before;
