How to make rose buns (corn flavor)

1. Prepare various materials.

2. First dissolve the yeast in warm water, then mix the corn flour with warm water and set aside. Finally, knead the flour, dissolved yeast, corn flour and sugar into dough.

3. Put the dough in warm water and let it ferment for 40 minutes. It is ready if it does not bounce back when poked with chopsticks.

4. Knead the fermented dough for 20 minutes, pop the bubbles inside and divide it into small pieces of similar size. Use a rolling pin to roll it into sheets of similar thickness. Then stack five sheets together and put a chopstick in the middle to press hard to make a crease. Use a small dough to roll it into a long strip and place it on the innermost sheet and roll it inwards.

5. Press out the marks with your hands when rolling to the end, then divide it into two rose shapes in opposite directions.

6. Then make the other small dough pieces into rose shapes.

7. Place the rose-shaped buns in the steamer and continue to ferment for 30 minutes. Then turn on the heat and steam them for another 15 minutes before simmering for 10 minutes.

8. After steaming, serve on a plate and enjoy the delicious rose-shaped steamed buns.
