How to make fancy ham rolls

1. Prepare flour and yeast

2. Dissolve the yeast in warm water at about 35 degrees and pour it into the flour. Add warm water as appropriate and stir with chopsticks.

3. Stir with chopsticks until it becomes flocculent, then knead it into dough with your hands, wrap it with plastic wrap and ferment it.

4. The dough becomes larger and becomes honeycomb-shaped when it is opened, and the fermentation is complete.

5. Expel air from the dough, cover with a clean wet cotton cloth and let it rise for 20 minutes.

6. Take a piece of the dough that has risen, roll it into an oval shape, and flatten it with your hands.

7. Use a rolling pin to roll it into a long tongue shape and put the ham on it.

8. Roll the dough around the ham, pinch the gap tightly, and use a knife to cut off the excess dough at both ends.

9. Turn to the side without gaps and cut into several small petals. Do not cut it completely, just cut the ham.

10. Turn the two adjacent petals upwards. Cut five times in total, which means six petals.

11. I made two in total. I cut the other one six times and folded it to have a flower center in the middle. After it was done, put it in the pot and steam it for 18 minutes.

12. After steaming, take it out and let it cool. Turn it over from time to time to avoid water vapor.
