How to make tea-smoked chicken wings

1.1 Add salt, cooking wine, white pepper, MSG, ginger slices, garlic slices and other seasonings.

2.2 First, you need to prepare the chicken wings. Wash the wings and cut a few times on them to make them more flavorful.

3.1 Put all the seasonings into the steamer and steam for half an hour (put it upside down on a plate to prevent the steam from escaping).

4.2 Then massage it and marinate it for half an hour to an hour (be sure to turn it over several times in the middle).

5.1 Cut a piece of tin foil and fold it into a small square paper box.

6.2 Take it out, remove the seasoning impurities and set it aside for later use.

7. Place a small tin foil box in the pan and add two spoons of sugar and one spoon of tea leaves into the box.

8. Build a rack on top and put the chicken wings on it (I don’t have a high pot at home, so I can’t use the grill in the microwave. So I can only put a pizza pan in it, and then use its four sides to build a rack with bamboo sticks. Of course, you can use disposable chopsticks);

9. Place the chicken wings on the rack.

10. Cover the pot and turn on high heat. Wait until the heat is transferred to the tin foil box and the sugar on top starts to smoke, then turn to low heat.

11. Turn off the heat when you see that there is no bubbling from the sugar below and the smoke has subsided. Stir the pot once during this period. Do not open the lid immediately after turning off the heat. Let it simmer for a while before opening the lid.
