How to cook Jade Prawns

Many modern people spend their days in a hurry, have irregular meals and almost always eat out. On the surface it may seem like a hassle-free experience, but from a health perspective it is a very bad habit. Caring for your health starts with diet. When it comes to diet, it starts with yourself. So below I will first introduce the method of cooking Jade Prawns.

1. Wash the shrimps and set aside.

2. Slice the ginger and garlic and set aside.

3. Bring the water to a boil, add the ginger slices, then pour in the shrimps and add 1 spoonful of cooking wine to remove the fishy smell.

4. Remove the shrimp thread and shell from the blanched shrimps, leaving only the last section of the shrimp shell at the tail.

5. Peel the cucumber for aesthetic purposes (as shown in the picture). Cut it into sections and use chopsticks to insert and remove the core, leaving a hole.

6. Insert the shrimps into the cucumber segments one by one and set aside; (Use the shrimp tails with shells on, which is why the shrimp tail shells are kept).

7. Pour a small amount of oil into the pan and sauté the minced ginger and garlic, then add the skewered shrimps. (Remember, use a spatula to gently push and stir evenly. Do not stir vigorously up and down, otherwise the shrimp meat will fall out of the cucumber)

8. Add half a spoonful of salt, half a spoonful of sugar, half a spoonful of starch and a small amount of chicken essence and pepper powder into a bowl, add 5 spoonfuls of water to make a sauce, pour it on the shrimps and stir-fry quickly over high heat before serving.

9. Remove from the pan and serve.
