Steamed Beef with Glutinous Rice

Ingredients: 100g beef, 200g glutinous rice, 3 spoons oyster sauce, 2 spoons dark soy sauce, salt, sugar, pepper, chicken stock

Method 1. Soak glutinous rice for more than 10 hours. Dice the beef and soak in water for 1 hour then drain

2. Add 1.5 spoons of oyster sauce, 1 spoon of dark soy sauce, salt, sugar, pepper, and chicken essence to the beef and marinate for 3 minutes

3. Add the same seasoning to the glutinous rice and mix well

4. Steam the marinated beef and glutinous rice together for more than 2 hours.

Steamed Crab with Glutinous Rice

Ingredients: 1 600g brown crab, 100g glutinous rice, a little mushroom and winter bamboo shoots, MSG, soy sauce, oyster sauce

Method 1. Steam the glutinous rice and set aside. Chop the crab and put it on a plate;

2. Put glutinous rice into the pot and stir-fry until fragrant. Add mushrooms, winter bamboo shoots, soy sauce and oyster sauce. Put it on the crab meat and cover it with the crab shell.

3. Cover with plastic wrap and steam in a steamer for 25 minutes.

Tips: Since the shell of the king crab is relatively thick, if you want to use the king crab, it is recommended that you prepare crab-eating utensils. Other crabs can also be used, such as swimming crabs, hairy crabs, etc.

Steamed crab with glutinous rice

Ingredients: 400 grams of glutinous rice, 1 hairy crab. Seasoning: 1 teaspoon of fine salt, 1/2 teaspoon of MSG, a little Shaoxing wine, and a little green onion.

Method 1. Kill and clean the hairy crabs, soak them in salt water for 2 minutes and set aside.

2. Wash the glutinous rice, drain the water, add salt, MSG and Shaoxing wine, mix well, place it on a plate together with the crabs, steam it in a steamer for 20 minutes, take it out, sprinkle with chopped green onions and it’s done.

Material replacement

Replace glutinous rice with Meicai and replace hairy crab with king crab, and it is called Meicai King Crab.

Taste Changes

Add fish sauce (made from fish sauce, light soy sauce, Huadiao wine, Maggi soy sauce, white sugar, clam essence, shredded green onion, ginger and garlic) to the seasoning, and it is called steamed hairy crab with glutinous rice and fish sauce.
