How to make fresh lotus root porridge

1. Soak glutinous rice and wheat kernels in water for more than 40 minutes

2. Add appropriate amount of cornstarch to the minced meat and mix well and put it in the refrigerator for later use

3. Add the two kinds of rice into the pot and add appropriate amount of water

4. After boiling over high heat, turn to low heat and simmer for 25-30 minutes

5. Add the chopped lotus root strips/diced

6. Add the meat filling and cook until the rice is soft.

7. Add shredded ginger and cook for a few minutes

8. Finally, add the chopped cucumber and salt to taste and turn off the heat.
