Bread Recipes Without Butter

Bread Recipes Without Butter

Bread is a common food in people's daily life. With the gradual improvement of people's living conditions, many people can now make bread at home using ovens and other kitchen utensils. There are many ways to make bread, and generally speaking, many people add butter. Of course, some people don't like butter. Next, I will introduce to you how to make bread without butter.

1. No butter version of hand-torn bread

1. Add yeast to warm milk and mix well

2. Add milk mixture to other ingredients. Knead the dough into a smooth dough. It's quite painful. Come on, everyone.

3. After it is smooth, use a rolling pin to roll it into a rectangle that is slightly wider. Use a brush to apply a layer of corn oil (not included in the recipe), then fold the left side halfway to the right, and fold the right side halfway to the left. Roll it into a rectangle, brush it with oil and fold it again. Repeat this cycle once more

4. The rectangle is divided into three equal strips. Braid into a braid. Make sure the head and tail are connected well.

5. After braiding, put it into a 6-inch cake mold, cover it with a cloth and let it ferment in a warm place for one hour

6. Oven at 170 degrees for about 25 minutes

2. How to make soft bread (without butter)

Add all the ingredients into the bread machine and start the kneading program. You can refer to the scissors method, and the film can be produced in 15 minutes at the slowest.

Let it ferment at room temperature until it is twice as large and does not shrink when pressed with your finger dipped in flour. Take out the air, divide into 7 equal parts, roll into a ball and put into an 8-inch cake mold. Step 2 of making soft bread (without butter)

Put the cake base into the oven and turn on the fermentation function until it is 1 times larger. Take out the egg wash and preheat the oven to 150 degrees. Step 3 of the soft bread (without butter)

Bake in the oven for 30 minutes and brush with honey water (optional, personal preference)

The drawing is excellent, fragrant and soft.

3. No butter version of small bread

First, crack the eggs and stir them evenly into a fine egg liquid. Then pour most of the egg liquid into the dough mixing bowl, leaving about 10 grams for brushing the surface. Then pour in all the wet ingredients (water is used because there is no milk at home and it will be more fragrant with milk), and then add the dry ingredients (except flour). After adding, pour in the flour and stir evenly.

When it's almost done, start kneading the dough. This step is more laborious, as you need to knead the dough vigorously until it is evenly distributed and finely kneaded. If you have a bread machine, you can use it directly, which is much more convenient. If the dough feels sticky to your hands, sprinkle some flour and add a little oil, then continue kneading. Knead the dough until you can pull out a thin film, like bubble gum.

After kneading the dough, the first basic fermentation is carried out. I used bread flour, and the instructions said it needed to be fermented for three hours, but you can judge whether it is done based on the actual situation. That is, wait until the dough has fermented to twice its size, and you can poke a hole in it with your finger, and it will feel like a marshmallow. If the weather is very cold, it will be more difficult to ferment. My method is to put a basin of warm water underneath. It cannot be too hot, as it will kill the yeast.

After fermentation, start weighing the small doughs. Because my oven is a mini type, I can only make 60g each. Use a rolling pin to flatten the dough and then roll it into a ball again. Place it on a baking tray for secondary fermentation, which takes about 15 minutes.

After the second fermentation is completed, brush a layer of egg liquid on the surface of the dough, and then sprinkle a little white sesame seeds on the surface. Brush the bottom of the dough with a little oil to prevent the bread from sticking to the baking sheet. It seems to look pretty, hehe.

Finally, put it in the oven and bake at 190 degrees for 15 minutes. Wait patiently and the bread will be ready.
