What to eat to nourish the eyes

What to eat to nourish the eyes

Eyes play a very important role for humans. However, in daily life, many people suffer from vision problems due to excessive use of their eyes. In this case, people can eat more foods that are good for the eyes to alleviate these adverse symptoms and make their eyes healthier. Below, I recommend some foods that are good for your eyes!

1. Banana

Bananas can protect your eyes, first of all because they are rich in potassium. Secondly, bananas contain a lot of beta-carotene. When the human body consumes too much salt, a large amount of water will be retained in the cells, which can cause redness and swelling of the eyes. The potassium in bananas can help the body excrete this excess salt, allowing the body to achieve a balance between potassium and sodium, and relieve eye discomfort. Therefore, girls should pay attention to eating a banana when you overuse your eyes. This can increase nutrition through diet, improve eyesight, and can relieve symptoms such as dry and painful eyes to a certain extent.

2. Coriander

Although coriander is a "supporting role" among many vegetables, its health and medicinal value cannot be ignored. The substances contained in coriander can clear away heat and relieve exterior symptoms, prevent and treat urticaria and relieve itching. Research data has shown that because coriander contains a variety of vitamins, its function of clearing internal heat has a very obvious effect on improving vision and reducing eye diseases. Therefore, it is recommended that people eat some coriander often to clear away heat and improve vision.

3. Kelp

In addition to iodine, kelp also contains 1/3 mannitol. There is a thick layer of "white frost" on the surface of dried kelp, which is the mannitol in the kelp. Mannitol has a diuretic effect, can reduce intraocular pressure, and is effective in treating acute glaucoma. Other seaweeds such as kelp also contain mannitol and can be used as an auxiliary food for the treatment of acute glaucoma.

4. Spinach

It is rich in potassium, calcium and magnesium, which can help enhance the elasticity of eye muscles and reduce the risk of myopia. It is also a good source of vitamin B2 and beta-carotene. When there is sufficient vitamin B2, the eyes will not easily become bloodshot; and beta-carotene can be converted into vitamin A in the body to prevent dry eye disease and other symptoms.
