1. Peel and wash the white radish, cut into long strips (or thin slices)

3. Rinse with sufficient water

4. Put an appropriate amount of water in the pot, not too much, enough to pickle 2/3 of the radish, add the gardenia to boil the water, let it cool after boiling, and filter out the gardenia

5. Mix gardenia water and white vinegar in a 1:1 ratio, so that the total amount covers the radish. Add sugar according to your taste (if you like sweet, add more and taste it).

6. Put the radish into the soup, cover it, marinate for more than 24 hours, and take it out for consumption.

7. Gardenia is sold in drugstores and Taobao. It is mainly used to dye radishes. Don't put too much.

8. As shown in the picture, take out and drain the water before using it when making sushi
