How to make braised yam and beef

Braised yam and beef is a healthy and green dish. Different from various street snacks, the ingredients required are all non-toxic and pollution-free green food, and it also has the function of enhancing people's immunity. This dish can be seasoned according to your taste. The combination of different flavors will give people different stimulations to the taste buds.

1. Prepare all seasonings

2. Wash the beef and put it in cold water to remove the blood. Then put it in a pot of cold water and boil it over high heat. Then blanch it and remove it (to allow the acidic substances in the beef to be fully released).

3. After the pot boils, use a slotted spoon to scoop out the bottom (do not turn off the heat to prevent blood foam from hanging on the meat)

4. Put it into a casserole with boiled water in advance and remove a little foam on the surface

5. Add appropriate amount of cooking wine

6. Add salt

7. Dark soy sauce

8. Finally, add all the seasonings

9. Cook for 5 minutes without covering the pot again to allow the aroma to release.

10. Reduce the heat, cover with lid and simmer for 1 hour and 40 minutes (calculate the time from when the lid is on low heat)

11. Prepare yam and carrots, wash and cut off the yam slices

12. Then cut into dice

13. Fry until golden brown.

14. Fry the carrots until they are golden brown.

15. Set aside for later use

16. When the beef is cooked, make an appropriate amount of beef and original soup, add the fried yam and carrot, and cook over medium heat until the soup is absorbed.

17. Serve in a bowl and enjoy the braised beef and yam

The recipe of braised yam and beef is simple, and the essence lies in the preparation of the sauce. If you like sweet and sour taste, you can add some tomato or apple cider vinegar and pour it on the dish, and the dish will immediately become a meal.
