How to cook winter melon with shrimp and phoenix tail

Every time you visit friends or colleagues’ homes, you’ll find that they all have one or two specialties. But every time it was my turn, I was always short of money. 1. Ingredients: 400g winter melon, 6-10 fresh live shrimps; 5ml cooking wine, 5g salt, 1 head of garlic, 30ml steamed fish soy sauce, 10ml oyster sauce, half a coriander, and appropriate amount of red pepper.

2. Peel the winter melon and press it into petal shape using a mold.

3. Preheat the pan, add cooking oil, and fry the winter melon.

4. Fry until both sides are golden brown.

5. Arrange on a plate in the shape of petals.

6. Chop the garlic

7. Remove the shrimp heads, whiskers and legs, pick out the shrimp thread, leaving only the tails and shrimp joints, spray with a little cooking wine and marinate.

8. Arrange the marinated prawns in the shape of a flower heart in the middle of the winter melon plate and sprinkle with garlic.

9. Put it into the steamer and steam for 5 minutes.

10. Drain the juice from the steamed winter melon and place it in a bowl for later use.

11. Chop red pepper, coriander and garlic.

12. Preheat the pan, add cooking oil, and stir-fry minced garlic over low heat until fragrant.

13. Pour in the juice just now, add oyster sauce after it boils, and stir-fry quickly and evenly.

14. Add steamed fish soy sauce and stir-fry quickly and evenly.

15. Sprinkle with chopped coriander and chopped red pepper and the sauce is ready.

16. Pour the steamed winter melon with the sauce and serve.
