How to make salt and pepper tofu?

Salt and pepper tofu is a very simple dish. The main flavors are the taste of pepper and salt and the texture of tofu. Tofu itself does not have much taste, just a light soybean flavor, plus the rich aroma of pepper and salt. Fry the tofu in a pan and sprinkle with pepper and salt.

Materials

Main ingredients: 300 grams of tofu (northern)

Seasoning: 15g salt and pepper, 2g MSG, 2g salt, 3g sugar, 3g chili sauce, 3g garlic (white skin), 3g starch (pea), 30g peanut oil

Taste characteristics

Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, suitable for all seasons.

Preparation method

1. Cut the silken tofu into 8 pieces, sprinkle salt and MSG evenly on the tofu, marinate for a while and then sprinkle cornstarch around each piece of tofu.

2. Add oil to a pan and heat it until it is 70% hot. Fry the tofu until it turns golden brown and then remove from the pan.

3. Leave some oil in the pan and stir-fry the minced garlic, chili sauce and sugar. Put the fried tofu into the pan, sprinkle with pepper and salt, stir-fry and serve.
