How to make the little hedgehog steamed buns with milky cornmeal

There are actually many things to pay attention to when it comes to making a good dish. Of course, cooking is not as difficult as everyone imagines. Everything is difficult at the beginning. First prepare the ingredients and seasonings, and then start making the milky cornmeal hedgehog buns.

1. Beat the eggs manually, add yeast to the warm milk and stir evenly, then let it stand for ten minutes! Get a larger container, first pour the flour, corn flour, sugar, and baking powder into it and stir evenly, then pour in the egg liquid and stir evenly, finally pour in the milk with yeast, stir evenly with a spatula, and knead it into a smooth dough with your hands. Cover the container with plastic wrap and ferment at room temperature for about 40 minutes (in summer)

2. Let the kneaded dough ferment until it is twice its original size, take it out to exhaust the air, and knead it again! Wash the black rice with clean water and drain.

3. Knead the dough into long strips and divide it into 16 portions with a spatula.

4. Take a piece of dough and knead it into an oval shape. Gently knead one end of the dough into a small pointed shape like a small tail (the hedgehog's mouth).

5. Use scissors to cut from the small pointed mouth little by little, and it will become a cute little hedgehog! Then dip the black rice in a little bit of clean water, and dip one on each side of the little pointed mouth, and the little hedgehog's black eyes will appear!

6. Place the cut hedgehog in the steamer, cover the pot, and allow to ferment for the second time. Let it sit for about 20 minutes! Then put the pot in cold water, bring to a boil over high heat and then turn to medium heat for 15 minutes!

7. After cooking on medium heat for fifteen minutes, turn off the heat and let it sit for five minutes, then you can serve and enjoy the food! Don’t think it’s too cute to eat! Ha ha
