How to make sweet and sour lotus root meatballs

Although there are many restaurants outside, if you look closely, you will find that there are only these types: malatang, dumplings, hot pot, and stir-fried dishes. Perhaps, the dishes in these restaurants taste a lot of "flavor", but most of it is due to the seasoning. You can do better at home if you want. Well, now let me introduce to you the method of making sweet and sour lotus root balls.

1. Wash the lotus root, peel it, cut it into small pieces, mix it with the pork filling, add chopped green onion, salt, MSG, light soy sauce, white pepper, sesame oil, and mix well!

2. Roll the filling into small balls with your hands and coat them with a thin layer of flour!

3. When the oil is 70% hot, add the meatballs, turn to medium-low heat, and fry until golden brown! Remove from the pan and set aside!

4. It’s OK when it’s fried like this!

5. Wash the mushrooms and cut into small pieces! spare!

6. Wash the rapeseed clean. I didn’t cut it with a knife, I just split the whole plant!

7. Heat the pan, add the chopped green onion, stir-fry until fragrant, add the rapeseed, and when the vegetable is a little soft, add the mushrooms, appropriate amount of salt, stir-fry, turn off the heat and add MSG! Serve and set aside!

8. Let’s make a sweet and sour sauce. Put appropriate amount of water in the pot, add tomato sauce, vinegar, sugar, boil until thick, turn off the heat, and add lotus root balls!

9. Arrange the dish. Eating meatballs alone doesn’t seem to have much in the way of other dishes, so I added some vegetables to go with it, haha!
