In daily life, it can be made into pudding desserts, egg tarts, etc. The nutritional value of egg white is also relatively high. Eating some of it properly is good for the body, especially since egg white is lower in calories and is not rich in cholesterol like egg yolk.

What desserts can be made with egg whites

1. Egg pudding dessert

Ingredients: 400g milk, 1/2 spoon of vanilla extract (it’s not a big deal if you don’t have it, but the flavor is not as good), 80g sugar, 4 eggs, 100g sugar, 40g water

step:

1. Boil the water on high heat for 5 minutes, then add sugar and stir thoroughly to make syrup.

2. Add sugar water, eggs and fresh milk and mix well.

3. Mix one cup of white sugar with half a cup of boiling water and cook until golden brown and become caramel.

4. Pour a little cooked caramel into the mold.

5. Pour the mixed pudding ingredients into the mold.

6. Add about 1/3 of warm water to the baking tray, then put it in the microwave oven and bake it on medium heat for 15 minutes.

2. Egg tarts

Ingredients: 100g high-gluten flour, 100g low-gluten flour, 2 eggs, 130g milk, 3g salt, 105g water, 130g butter, 45g sugar

step:

1. After the butter is softened, add flour and knead it into small pieces. Add salt, sugar and water and stir. Knead the dough and refrigerate for an hour.

2. Take out the dough and roll it into a square. The butter should be the same hardness as the dough. Roll it into a slightly smaller square. Fold the dough, wrap it in the butter, and roll it into a long square.

3. Fold it from one third first, then fold it in half from the other third, wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes

4. Take out and roll into a rectangle or square, 3 mm thick, and press into shape with an egg tart mold.

5. Put the dough into the egg tart mold

6. Prepare the egg tart water, add sugar to the eggs, and boil the milk to 90 degrees.

7. Wait for the eggs and sugar to melt. After melting, slowly pour the hot milk into the egg liquid.

8. Filter again, put into the egg tart mold, preheat the oven to 220 degrees, middle layer, upper and lower fire, bake for 15-20 minutes.

3. Angel Cake

Ingredients: 5 egg whites, 50 grams of flour

step:

1. Sift the flour into a bowl without water or oil.

2. Add sugar to egg white and beat with an electric whisk until it forms small points.

3. Take one third of the egg white paste into the flour bowl and mix well.

4. Pour the remaining 2/3 of the egg white paste into the flour bowl and mix evenly using cutting and stirring techniques.

5. Place a piece of baking paper on the baking tray to facilitate demoulding. (You can also use a loose-bottom chiffon cake mold.)

6. Pour the cake batter into the baking pan and smooth the surface with a spatula.

7. Put it in the oven preheated to 160 degrees, middle layer, upper and lower fire, for about 25 minutes.
