2. Wubao red flower lotus root is a famous specialty of Zhongyi Town, Lezhi County, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province. Because it is slightly red when cooked, the locals call it "red lotus root".

It is made from rice and typical varieties include white rice rolls, yellow rice rolls, black rice rolls, etc. It can be cooked in many ways, such as cold salad, stir-fry, roast, deep-fry, grill, hot pot, and blanching. The usual way to eat Anyue rice rolls is to cut the rice rolls into small pieces about an inch in size, spread them out, add onions, ginger, garlic, soybean oil, vinegar, red chili oil, MSG, chicken essence, sesame seeds, sugar, pepper powder, and spices, mix well and then eat. According to experts, this snack can only be processed in Anyue with the local rice and water conditions.
