Squid is rich in protein, amino acids essential to the human body, a large amount of taurine, cholesterol, and high content of trace elements such as calcium, phosphorus, selenium, potassium, and sodium. 1. Remove the black skin of the squid .

There is a layer of black skin on the surface of the squid, which is the protective film of the squid. In fact, many people eat it with the skin and there are no adverse reactions, but the dishes made from it don’t look good.

However, squid skin is difficult to peel. Here is a clever method that has been tested in practice, which allows you to easily peel off the squid skin in three minutes: soak the squid in water with 100 grams of white vinegar for three minutes, then take a container, add more clean water, and put the squid in it. Use a knife to cut two cuts on the back of the fish, pinch the triangular head of the squid with your hands and pull it down, so that you can pull off the skin on the back of the squid. Finally, peel off the skin from the rest of the squid and that's it.

2. Pull off the squid’s head.

In fact, this step is completed at the same time during the peeling process mentioned above. Because when peeling the squid, the squid's head is easily pulled off, and the internal organs will be pulled out at the same time. When pulling the head, if the neck part is stuck to the body, just use your fingers to break it.

It is rather troublesome to clean the squid's head, but the most important thing is to remove the eyes, because there is a lot of ink in the eyes. If it is not removed, the dish will be black.

First of all, there are small round "plastic rings" on the small suction cups of the squid tentacles. You need to pull off these "plastic rings" from each tentacle one by one. After cleaning the tentacles, you need to cut the mouth and squeeze out the eyes, which is the most disgusting step. Carefully cut open the squid's head, then remove the squid's mouth and two eyeballs.

Reminder: Be careful when removing the squid's eyes, because the eyes contain a large amount of ink that can easily spray out and stain your clothes. This can be avoided by operating in water.

3. Clean the squid's body.

The squid's body is easy to clean. There is a long "plastic piece" on its back, which is the squid's cartilage. It is easy to find and can be pulled out with a pull. Then use scissors to cut open the squid's belly, it will become a large piece, and rinse it to clean it.

4. Cut the squid.

This step is easy to do. Cut the tentacles into segments, the head into pieces, and the body into flower cuts or shreds. At this point, the entire squid cleaning is completed! !
