How to make taro-flavored Chinese sausage rice

We often see food shows on TV and make ourselves envious. Here is how to make taro-flavored Chinese sausage clay pot rice. Prepare the ingredients and start cooking.

1. Prepare the raw materials. Peel the taro. It is best to wear gloves when peeling the taro to prevent itchy hands. Wash the coriander and chives and set aside.

2. Measure the rice, wash it, put it into a casserole, add appropriate amount of clean water and soak it for 30 minutes. You can add a few drops of cooking oil into the water.

3. Cut the taro into finger-sized dices, heat oil in a pan, add the taro dices and slowly roast over low heat until the surface is golden brown.

4. Put the roasted taro cubes into the casserole and light the fire to cook. The heat should not be too high when cooking casserole rice. Bring it to a boil over medium heat until the water on the surface of the rice is dried up. Then turn to low heat and slowly dry up all the water in the pot. Cover the pot and simmer until cooked.

5. While the rice is cooking, you can cut the sausage into small pieces and prepare the garlic and ginger.

6. Cut the coriander and chives into small pieces and set aside

7. Light a pot on another stove, heat it up, put the sausage in, pour in a little water and cook the sausage for a while until the sausage starts to ooze oil, then add minced garlic and shredded ginger and stir fry

8. Pour a little soy sauce, oyster sauce and sugar into the mixture and stir-fry for about a minute.

9. Turn off the heat, quickly add coriander and chives and mix well

10. Pour the fried sausage onto the cooked rice and simmer for 2-3 minutes in the residual heat of the casserole. Mix well when eating.
