How to make Taiwanese steamed dumplings

Food is vital to our human body and is closely related to our life. A good diet can prolong your life. On the contrary, a bad diet can take away our precious lives. So, what constitutes a good diet? I guess I have to at least do it myself. Now, let me introduce to you the method of making the so-called Taiwanese steamed dumplings.

1. Boil part of the flour (up to half) in boiling water, knead it into a smooth dough after it cools down and set it aside to rest.

3. Mix the diced cabbage and pork, add appropriate amount of cooking oil, bean paste, and a little chicken essence to make the filling

4. Roll the dough into long strips and cut into small pieces

5. Use a small rolling pin to roll the dough into an oblong shape of the appropriate size.

6. Take a dough, put in the fillings and wrap it up.

7. Add water to the steamer, put the steamed dumplings into the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer on medium or low heat for 15 minutes, then turn off the heat and wait for 3-5 minutes before eating. Generally we like to pair it with rice porridge and pickles.
