immunity. Steamed yellow croaker is a dish made with yellow croaker as the main raw material, which is then made through the steaming method. Now let me introduce the complete recipe of steamed yellow croaker.

Method 1:

1. First, remove the fins and internal organs of the fish, clean it, cut the ginger slices and tie the green onions into knots and stuff them into the fish or place them under the fish, add salt, pepper and chicken essence and marinate for 5 minutes, and cut the rest of the ginger and green onions into shreds.

2. Put water in the pot and bring it to a boil. Put the marinated fish into the pot and steam it over high heat for 3 minutes. Then take it out and pour out the steamed water. This will remove the muddy smell and make the fish taste more fresh and fragrant.

3. Discard the ginger slices and scallion knots that were added for the first time, put the shredded ginger on the fish and steam it again over high heat for 5 minutes.

4. Add oil to a hot pan and heat until the oil smokes (it must be hot enough). Carry out steps 4 and 3 simultaneously.

5. Continue with the third step, turn off the heat, open the lid of the pot, put chopped green onions on the twice-steamed fish, pour hot oil, and then evenly pour light soy sauce on the fish.

6. Finally, cover the pot and simmer without heat for 3 minutes.

Method 2:

Ingredients: Fresh yellow croaker, two green onions, a few slices of ginger, soy sauce

2. Method:

1. Clean the fish, slice it several times on both sides to make it easier to cook, and place it on a plate.

2. Put cold water in the pot and place the fish plate in the pot;

3. Five minutes after the water boils over medium heat, turn off the heat.

4. Two minutes after turning off the heat, take out the fish plate and pour out the soup in the plate.

5. Cut the green onion and ginger into shreds and put them on the fish.

6. Drizzle light soy sauce on the fish body, then heat a little oil and pour it over the shredded green onion and ginger while it’s still hot.

Method 3:

1 pound of yellow croaker; 1 teaspoon of fermented black beans; 2 cloves of garlic; 1 stalk of green onion;

Light soy sauce; 0.5 teaspoon sugar; 0.5 teaspoon white wine; 1 tablespoon oil;

Because yellow croaker and catfish (also known as bearded catfish) look very similar and taste very similar, I used the method we usually use to cook catfish. It should be Hakka flavor!

Methods and steps

1 Ask someone to slaughter the yellow croaker for you, cut it into pieces with a boning knife, split the middle of the fish head and put it on a plate. Slightly chop the fermented black beans, mince the garlic, and cut the green onions into sections.

2 Add fermented black beans, garlic and seasoning (except oil) to the fish and marinate for 10 minutes. Steam over medium heat in boiling water for 8 minutes with lid on.

3Sprinkle with scallions and pour with hot oil.

Tips: 1. The whole method of this dish is very simple, but it takes some effort to chop the fish. If you don’t have the time or energy, just steam the whole fish. The taste will be similar, but always a little worse. So take a sharp knife and chop the fish into pieces.

But this time I put the seasoning in and marinated the fish for a while, and also added white wine. 3. Because the yellow bone fish and the mullet (also known as the catfish) look very similar and taste very similar.
