Taikoo Bakery Homemade Recipe

Pour the cooked syrup into a small bowl and set aside.

2.12 [Dough making process]: 1. Pour the flour into the dough bowl and use chopsticks to dig a small hole in the center of the flour. 2. Slowly pour some of the cooked syrup into the small hole while it is still hot. 3. Use chopsticks to push the flour on the edge of the small hole into the syrup. 4. Mix the syrup and flour thoroughly to form small oily lumps of hot syrup. 5. Put the mixed oily lumps aside and continue to slowly pour some syrup on the dry flour. 6. Use chopsticks to mix the dry flour and syrup. 7. Form dough balls of oily syrup with dry flour. 8. Separate the egg yolk and egg white and place them in two small bowls.

Take one of the dough pieces, pinch it at the waist with your thumb and other four fingers, and gently knead and rotate it. 8. Make the dough into a cylinder with a round surface. 9. Use your palm to press down on the surface of the dough to make it into a flat round dough. The dough is now ready.

5.10. If you feel that the dough is not round enough, you can take a cup that is smaller than the dough and turn it upside down on the dough. 11. Press your palm on the bottom surface of the cup and press down hard. 12. Cut off the irregular edges of the dough to make it into a round dough with rounded edges. 13. Make all the dough pieces according to the above method. 14. Use chopsticks to beat the separated egg yolk liquid and mix well. 15. Dip a seasoning brush in a little egg yolk liquid and lightly brush a layer evenly on the surface of each pancake. 16. Prepare a small amount of cooking oil and mix it with maltose to make oily maltose. 17. Use a seasoning brush to dip a little oily maltose and lightly brush a layer of it evenly on the surface of each cake. 18. Prepare fried white sesame seeds, dip your index finger in some white sesame seeds, and gently apply them on the surface of each cake several times to make the sesame seeds evenly distributed on the surface of the cake.

6. [Baking process of the cake]: 1. Put a layer of tin foil on the baking tray. 2. Place the dough coated with sesame seeds on the baking tray, leaving a little space between each dough. 3. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees for 5 minutes, place the baking tray in the oven, and bake at 200 degrees for about 10 minutes. 4. Bake until the dough is cooked and the surface is golden with a little brown, then take out the baking tray. 5. Baked cakes.
