How to make vanilla puffs

Many delicious foods can be made by more than just restaurant chefs. You can also do it at home, of course, this requires you to learn it yourself. Here is how to make vanilla puffs. Learn it yourself and try making it at home.

1.12 Separate the egg yolks and egg whites for the puff filling.

2.21 Beat the egg yolks until thick, the color becomes lighter, and the volume becomes larger, about four to five minutes.

3.121 After the milk and sugar are boiled, turn off the heat, add 1/3 of the batter made in the previous step, stir well, add another 1/3 and continue stirring well, finally pour the batter back into the milk pot, add vanilla extract and stir well.

4.212 Add flour and mix well to form batter

5. Continue to heat on low heat until boiling, turn off the heat, and put the milk pot into ice water

6. Keep stirring until it becomes a smooth paste. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.

7. Whip the cream until the texture is nice and smooth.

8. Then mix it evenly with the refrigerated vanilla paste. The puff filling is ready. Keep it in the refrigerator for later use.

9. Water + salt + sugar + butter for puff shell,

10. Melt butter over medium heat until boiling.

11. Turn to low heat, pour in low flour at once, stir quickly until it does not stick to the pan, turn off the heat,

12. Let cool slightly until warm but not hot.

13. Add egg liquid to the dough. Add it in batches, four or five spoonfuls each time, stir evenly and wait until the dough has completely absorbed the egg liquid before adding the next addition; repeat this process until you can see the batter is in an inverted triangle when you lift the wooden spoon and then stop. You don't necessarily have to use up all 3 eggs. (But mine was still a little dry after I used it up, so I added a little more milk)

14. There are two ways to get the puff dough. If you don't mind the trouble, use a piping bag. If you want to simply use two spoons, take a lot of small doughs and roughly shape them into balls, keeping a certain amount of expansion space. If the dough has sharp corners and is not round enough, you can use a spoon dipped in a little water to press it down.

16. After baking, take out the puff shells, let them cool for a while, then cut them and fill them with filling using a piping nozzle.

I think you have learned how to make the vanilla puffs introduced today! Understanding the method and, more importantly, putting it into practice will make your cooking skills more sophisticated and you can make more delicious food. Take action now!
