Italian Pie

In life, I believe that many people prefer to eat Italian pie. This kind of food uses fillings such as cauliflower, peas and tomatoes, and then chooses egg dough with a crispy crust. It is similar to the pizza we usually eat. So friends who like to eat Italian pie because of its delicious taste, we can learn its method, and then we can make Italian pie at home.

Ingredients: cauliflower, peas, tomatoes, onions, coriander, corn kernels, eggs, salt, pepper, chicken stock

1. Boil the cauliflower and peas in boiling water and chop them. Drain the juice from tomatoes and chop them finely. (It is important to remove the juice) Chop onion and cilantro. Drain the corn kernels.

2. Beat 4 eggs

3. Add salt, pepper, chicken essence, a little oil, basil (available at Carrefour supermarket, but you can also leave it out), and stir.

4. Pour the chopped vegetables into the egg liquid and stir evenly (preheat the oven to 250 degrees at this time)

5. Pour into 8-inch baking pan

6. Sprinkle a layer of shredded cheese evenly. It can be any cheese. (I used mozzarella cheese today. I have also used light mozzarella cheese and it worked just fine. But it is better to use emmental.)

7. Place it on the bottom layer of the oven and bake at 250 degrees Celsius for 10-12 minutes.

Ingredients: 400 grams of flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 4 tablespoons of warm milk (about 15 ml), 15 grams of dry yeast, 2 tablespoons of salt, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, and 9 tablespoons of warm water. Ingredients for the pie: 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 cloves of chopped garlic, 400 grams of drained canned crushed tomatoes, half a tablespoon of dried tomatoes, salt and black pepper to taste, 350 grams of Italian white cheese, 175 grams of Italian blue cheese, 175 grams of Italian smoked sausage, 10 pitted black olives, 1 tablespoon of alimentary herbs.

1. Mix sugar and milk, add to dry yeast and place in a warm place for 10 minutes until foamy.

2. Use a sieve to sift the salt and flour into a bowl, add the yeast mixture, beat with a fork, then add oil and enough water to knead into a dough. Knead the dough until the surface is smooth and elastic, then put it in a bowl sprinkled with flour, cover with a cloth, and place it in a warm place for 1 hour. Add garlic to the oil and sauté until lightly browned. Add tomatoes, amaranth, salt and pepper and simmer for approx. 15 to 20 min. to make the sauce.

3. Grease the baking tray with oil; roll the dough into a dough on a floured board, pull a shallow lip around it, and place it on the baking tray; spread some cooked tomato mixture on the raw pie dough and place the other ingredients on top.

4. Allow the prepared raw pies to rise for 30 minutes, then push the baking tray into the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until the dough rises and small bubbles appear on the topping.
