Thai mango sticky rice recipe

In fact, many times, cooking not only makes you happy, but also cultivates your sentiments and allows you to relax. So sometimes we need to learn how to cook. Here is a recipe for Thai mango sticky rice.

1. Soak the glutinous rice overnight, leaving some water at the bottom of the bowl. Steam for 20 minutes.

2. After the glutinous rice has been steamed for about 15 minutes, you can start cooking the coconut milk. Freshly blended coconut milk is best, but canned coconut milk will work if you don’t have it. This is the coconut milk I used.

3. Heat coconut milk over medium heat. Once hot, add 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1/4 teaspoon of salt, stirring constantly. Once the sugar and salt are completely dissolved and the coconut milk becomes thick, you can turn off the heat.

4. Take a ball of freshly steamed hot glutinous rice and place it on one side of the bowl. Pour a few tablespoons of cooked coconut milk on the glutinous rice and leave it for 5 minutes to allow the glutinous rice to fully absorb the coconut milk.

5. Place the chopped mango on the other side of the bowl. Pour a few tablespoons of coconut milk on top before serving.
