How to make chestnut braised chicken

1.12 Boil water in a pot, throw the chestnuts in and cook for a few minutes, then turn off the heat. Soak the chestnuts in boiling water for 10 minutes, and you can easily remove the hairy shell on the outside of the chestnuts.

2.21 Soak the mushrooms in water for half an hour to expand, then rinse them, cut them into small pieces and set aside with the chestnuts.

3. Wash the chicken and cut it into pieces. Slice the ginger and onion.

4. Heat the pan with peanut oil, add the chicken, ginger slices and onions and stir-fry.

5. Stir-fry until the chicken pieces continue to release oil, then add appropriate amount of salt and continue frying. Then pour in the rice wine and stir-fry until fragrant, then pour in the mushrooms and chestnuts.

6. After stir-frying for about 2 minutes, cover with lid and cook for 5 minutes, then open the lid, stir it, add the chili segments and stir-fry.

7. After stir-frying, continue to cover and simmer for a few minutes until it is cooked through.

8. If you prefer a stronger flavor, you can add some spices such as star anise and cinnamon while cooking. I prefer lighter food so I don’t put these in. It's really delicious~~
