If it also compresses your arms, it will often cause poor blood circulation in the upper limbs, leading to various symptoms such as numbness, pain, etc.

1. Affects breathing.

Because the prone sleeping posture causes difficulty in breathing, the oxygen supply in the body will naturally be insufficient. Postures that compress the chest can also induce various heart diseases.

2. Eyes are prone to bloodshot

Sleeping on your stomach will put pressure on the eyeballs, making the eyes prone to congestion and causing increased intraocular pressure. People often experience temporary blurred vision after waking up, which is especially important for people with high myopia.

3. Dizziness and tinnitus

After falling asleep, a person's heart rate will gradually slow down, the blood flowing through various tissues will also become relatively slower, and the blood flowing into the brain will be less than usual. After lunch, more blood will enter the gastrointestinal tract to help digestion. Sleeping on your stomach will aggravate brain ischemia, and eventually lead to symptoms such as dizziness, tinnitus, weak legs and numbness in the feet.

4. Numbness and soreness in the arms

If the head is resting on the arm for a long time, the blood circulation in the arm will be blocked and nerve conduction will be affected, which can easily cause symptoms such as numbness and soreness in the arm.

5. Affects digestion

Most people eat a lot at lunch, and it takes about three hours to digest the food. Taking a nap lying down right after lunch can easily cause stomach bloating.

If you want to have a good sleep, you need to pay attention to the following: tea contains caffeine and other substances, which can stimulate the central nervous system and make people excited. Drinking tea before bed, especially strong tea, will make it harder to fall asleep. Vigorous activities will cause the brain's nerve cells to become excited. This excitement will not calm down in a short period of time, so people will not be able to fall asleep quickly. Therefore, you should try to keep your body calm before going to bed.
