Rice is one of the most common staple foods in our lives. In addition to making rice, rice can also be used to make many other foods, such as rice cake, which is a famous snack in Wuhan. Its main raw material is rice. First, the rice must be ground into rice paste, then fermented, and finally put into a pan to fry into a delicious delicacy. It tastes crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the nutritional value is also very good.

Prepare the ingredients:

260g rice, 2g yeast, 20g sugar, 200g water,

Preparation method:

1. Put the rice into the wall-breaking machine cup (the rice can be rinsed with clean water in advance and drained, and you can grind it directly if you don’t mind)

2. Turn on the power of the wall breaking machine and select the grinding function

3. Grind the rice into rice flour in about 50 seconds

4. Pour the rice flour into the basin

5. Add sugar, yeast and water and mix well.

6. Cover with plastic wrap or lid and ferment until many holes appear on the surface of the rice milk and it smells like wine.

7. Heat the electric baking pan, scoop a spoonful of rice paste with a spoon, pour it on the electric baking pan, spread it into a round shape, and the rice paste will gradually solidify and there will be pores on the surface.

8. When the bottom of the rice cake turns brown, use a spatula to turn it over and fry the other side. Remove from the pan when both sides are browned.

Tips:

1. The rice flour ground by a wall-breaking machine will be granular and does not need to be sieved. The rice cake made by granular rice flour tastes better.

2. This recipe contains little sugar and does not taste sweet. It is recommended to add 10g~15g for reference. I pay more attention to nutrition and health. When cooking food, try to use less oil, less salt and less sugar.

3. Before pouring in the rice paste, you can brush a layer of oil on the electric baking pan to make the pancakes more fragrant and more colorful.

4. The rice milk must be fermented fully before making, otherwise the taste and flavor will not meet the requirements.
