How to make Chen Shen porridge

1. Prepare the ingredients: 2 old kidneys, a small piece of lean meat, half a bowl of rice, a large piece of ginger, and a scallion.

2. Wash the rice twice, soak it in water for half an hour, wash the dried kidneys and soak them for half an hour

3. Chop the lean meat and mix it with appropriate amount of salt, soy sauce and water. Cut the ginger into shreds, put half of it into the meat and stir well, then add a spoonful of oil and stir well, finally add appropriate amount of cornstarch and water and stir well.

4. After soaking, cut the kidney into thin skins.

5. Pour 80% of water into the casserole and bring to a boil over high heat (pay attention to the fire to prevent it from overflowing), then add the soaked rice, dried kidneys and the remaining shredded ginger.

6. Bring to a boil over high heat, then immediately turn to low heat and continue cooking for 1.5 hours.

7. Then pour in the minced meat and quickly stir it with chopsticks.

8. Turn off the heat immediately after the porridge boils again, add appropriate amount of salt to season and enjoy.
