How to make white flour steamed buns

What do you do when you are unhappy? Maybe you will choose to cry or laugh, or go out and have fun, or smoke or drink, etc., but I believe there are definitely people who are willing to choose "eating". When you are unhappy, you might as well make something delicious for yourself, maybe your mood will improve immediately. Well, let me first introduce how to make white flour steamed buns.

1. Put all dry ingredients (except dry yeast) in a bowl, mix well with chopsticks, then add vegetable oil and mix well

2.12 Add about 10 times the amount of warm water (not exceeding 40 degrees, around 35 degrees is best) to the dry yeast and dissolve it, then let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Pour evenly into the flour, then add the remaining water and knead into dough

3.21 The first dough will be harder and may not be easy to knead into a smooth shape. It doesn’t matter, as long as it is basically in a ball shape. Then cover it with plastic wrap and place it in a warm and humid place for basic fermentation.

4. It takes about 40 to 60 minutes for the volume to double.

5. Then knead the dough again from all directions, the more thoroughly the better. Finally, after confirming that all the air in the dough has been expelled, divide the dough into several equal portions according to your preference, cover with plastic wrap and relax for about 15 minutes. After finishing, take the dough one by one, flatten it to release the air, and then roll it into a round shape.

6. Put the rolled dough into a steamer (or steamer) lined with a cloth, cover it with a lid, and let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes.

7. Put the steamer in cold water, cook over high heat until steam starts to form, then switch to medium-low heat and steam for 20 minutes, then turn off the heat. After 5 minutes, open the lid, take out the steamed buns and let them cool. (To prevent air leakage, you can wrap a towel around the steamer during the process.)
