The "little cabbage" in the movie is lonely and helpless, but the little cabbage in the vegetable kingdom has many "family members"! Judging from the names, pakchoi and chinese cabbage are really close relatives, like sisters and brothers, both belonging to a type of Brassica; from the perspective of species classification, pakchoi and western cabbage are inextricably linked, both belonging to the genus Brassica in the family Cruciferae. In terms of nutritional value, it has been determined that Chinese cabbage is the vegetable richest in minerals and vitamins, and its calcium content is almost 2 to 3 times that of Chinese cabbage!

Method 1

Ingredients: 3 Chinese cabbage leaves

1. Choose a fresh cabbage and pick a few leaves.

2. Keep only the leaves, soak and clean them, then cook them in a pot.

3. Finally, use a food processor to puree the cooked cabbage leaves.

4. Pour into a bowl and freeze the remaining in an ice cube tray. Next time you eat it, thaw it in the refrigerator and then steam it in a steamer. Generally, it does not need to be refrigerated for more than 5 days.

Tips: When your baby first starts adding complementary foods, the principle is to start with one food so that you can observe which food the baby is allergic to.

Method 2

Ingredients: several stalks of pakchoy, appropriate amount of water.

practice:

1. Choose organic Chinese cabbage, pick only the leaves, remove the stems and fibers, wash and set aside.

2. Blanch it twice with boiling water, then steam it in a steamer for 5-10 minutes.

3. Take it out and put it into a cooking bowl. Crush it with a food supplement stick. No need to add extra water.

Tips: You can also add other vegetables to make cabbage puree.
