Jing~How to make delicious sesame cakes

Simple and easy-to-learn dishes are the motivation for modern people to cook. Jing~Delicious Shaobing is a dish that not only satisfies the taste of the general public, but also meets the time requirements without having to wait for a long time. Paired with fragrant white rice and a bowl of soup, this is how you truly enjoy life.

1. Take 230 grams of flour, add a small amount of salt, and set aside. 5 grams of yeast, mix with 230 grams of water at about 35°C, and let it stand for 20 minutes. (The 3 grams of salt mentioned in the auxiliary materials is the amount used for frying oil puff pastry)

2. Add yeast water to flour in batches, knead into 3 smooth doughs, and ferment for 1-2 hours depending on the room temperature.

3. When the dough has doubled in size, press a hole in the dough with your finger. If the hole does not bounce back and there are no wrinkles around the hole, it means the dough has risen just right.

4. While the dough is fermenting, fry the puff pastry for later use. (Use hot pan and cold oil. Add the flour, oil, thirteen spices and salt in the ingredients list in turn into the pan and fry over medium-low heat.)

5. Knead the fermented dough repeatedly for more than ten minutes until it becomes smooth. Take half of it and roll it into thin slices. Spread it with puff pastry.

6. Fold 3 times each up, down, left, and right.

7. Roll it into a thin slice again, and fold it 4 times up and down, left and right.

8. Continue to roll it into thin slices, and cut it into 4 to 6 pieces depending on the size.

9. Let the cut dough stand for 20-30 minutes for secondary fermentation. Preheat the oven and put the dough into the oven. Bake at 200°C for 15 minutes. (The oven temperature and baking time can be adjusted according to the conditions of your own oven.)

10. Super delicious sesame cake, let’s eat~ (The one on the plate is steamed, equally wonderful~ The steamed one is more suitable for people with bad teeth, such as my dad~ haha~)
