How to make Hong Kong style Mala cake with lard

1.1 Add sugar, room temperature milk, and melted lard, and beat with an egg until everything is blended together without any oil or water separation.

2.2 Beat the eggs at room temperature into whole egg liquid (70g is about the size of 2 small eggs).

3. Add flour and baking powder, and use a whisk to stir until it becomes a fine paste without any dry powder particles.

4. Grease the container wall.

5. Pour the batter into the mold until it is about 80% full and let it sit for 15 minutes.

6. Put the batter that has been left to stand into the pot, start timing after the water boils, and cook on high heat for about 25 minutes. Remove from the pan by turning it upside down and slicing it for serving.
