How to cook quail eggs and pork ribs

1. Put the quail eggs into the pot with cold water, bring to a boil and cook for three minutes;

4. Cut the mushrooms into two halves; slice the green onions and ginger; peel the quail eggs; prepare seasonings such as cinnamon, star anise, pepper and bay leaves;

5. Add a proper amount of oil to the pot, add the soaked and drained ribs into the pot after the oil is hot, and stir-fry over low heat;

6. After the ribs change color and turn slightly brown, add appropriate amount of soy sauce and rock sugar and continue to stir-fry;

7. Stir-fry until the ribs are colored, then add appropriate amount of boiling water and cooking wine, add green onions and ginger slices, and then put in the ball containing seasonings;

8. Cover the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer for ten minutes over low heat;

9. Add peeled quail eggs;

10. Add mushroom slices;

11. Cover and cook for another eight minutes; remove the lid, turn up the heat to reduce the sauce, and add appropriate amount of salt, black pepper and other seasonings before removing from the heat;

12. Serve.
