How to cook the Imperial Concubine Beef Brisket

1. Wash the beef brisket, cut it into small pieces, blanch it, add seasoning and cook it in an electric pressure cooker. (These are all made by my husband)

2. Remove the beef brisket and set aside

3. Wash the carrots and cut into dice for later use

4. Prepare the scallion and ginger slices

5. Heat the pan and add oil. When the oil is 50% hot, add scallions and ginger slices and sauté until fragrant.

6. Add one spoon each of red bean paste, sweet noodle sauce, tomato sauce and cooking wine and mix well.

7. Put the cooked beef brisket into the pot and add a little soy sauce and sugar to season.

8. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes to coat the beef brisket with sauce

9. Add the original soup from cooking beef brisket, enough to cover the beef brisket, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 20-30 minutes

10. Add carrot cubes and continue cooking until the carrots are soft. Thicken with water starch and serve.
