1. Wash the rice and soak it for 1-2 hours. Put rice and water into a casserole in a ratio of 1:1.2, add a little cooking oil, bring to a boil over high heat and then turn to low heat. When the rice is cooked until no water is visible and it becomes honeycomb-like, pour a circle of cooking oil along the edge of the pot.

2. While the rice is cooking, prepare the side dishes. Blanch the broccoli and kelp buttons in boiling water with salt, and fry the vegetarian sausage.

3. Place the vegetarian sausage, broccoli, kelp buttons and corn peas on the rice and cover with lid. When you hear a sizzling sound at the bottom of the pot, wait for 10 seconds and then turn off the heat without opening the lid. Simmer until the temperature of the casserole drops to a level that is no longer hot, then pour in the sauce and mix well.
