How to make mushroom, pork and shrimp siomai

Mushroom, pork and shrimp dumplings is a dish that many people like. You don’t need to prepare too many ingredients when making this dish. Simple ingredients can create an extraordinary delicacy. The family sits together and eats this delicious dish. Happiness is as simple as this dish, full of the taste of home and very memorable.

1. Wash the pork and cut into small cubes for later use.

2. Put the chopped meat into a bowl, add a little salt, cooking wine, starch, and oil, mix well and marinate for a while.

3. Soak glutinous rice and rice for an hour in advance, put them in the rice cooker, cook the rice to the right softness and hardness, and set aside.

4. Soak the mushrooms in advance, wash and cut into small dices for later use.

5. Add appropriate amount of oil into the pan, add the marinated diced meat after the oil is hot and stir-fry for a while.

6. Then add the chopped mushrooms and stir-fry evenly.

7. Add a little white sugar, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and oyster sauce to season. Finally, add the dried shrimps and stir-fry for a while.

8. Add the cooked rice, mushrooms, pork and shrimp into the pot and mix well. Let cool and set aside.

9. Use a rolling pin to roll out the edge of the dumpling skin to make it thinner.

10. Put appropriate amount of stuffing into the dumpling skin, wrap it and shape it.

11. Pour an appropriate amount of water into the pot. After the water boils, put in the wrapped dumplings. Cover the pot and steam for 7-8 minutes before serving.
