How to make salt and pepper rolls (whole wheat)

When it's time for dinner, I stare at the menu in a daze. I eat fast food every day and want to eat home-cooked meals, but time often does not allow and I am not motivated enough. The method of making salt and pepper rolls (whole wheat) is extremely simple. It is an extremely simple and easy-to-learn dish. In less than half an hour, the delicious food can be presented to you.

1. Dissolve the yeast in warm water, then add it into the flour and mix well. Finally, add appropriate amount of warm water and knead into a smooth dough.

2. Place the kneaded dough in warm water and let it ferment for 40 minutes until it becomes the honeycomb shape as shown in the picture.

3. Knead the fermented dough for more than half an hour, burst the bubbles in the dough, and then use a rolling pin to roll it into thin slices. Drizzle the dough with olive oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds and pepper.

4. Then fold it inwards to about two centimeters wide.

5. After folding, use a knife to cut it into two centimeter wide pieces, and then stack two pieces together. Then use the middle of your hand to stretch outwards and cross it left and right to form a flower roll shape.

6. Roll the remaining dough into flower shapes and put them into the steamer to ferment for another 30 minutes.

7. After the fermentation is done, steam on high heat until steam comes out, then reduce the heat to low and steam for another 15 minutes, then simmer for another 10 minutes.

8. Remove from the pan and serve on a plate, then you can enjoy the delicious steamed buns.
