Steamed Tofu with Shrimp

Steamed tofu with shrimp is a dish suitable for all ages, because it is not only easy to digest, but also can supplement the human body with a variety of nutrients. 1. Steamed tofu with shrimp

Ingredients: 100g shrimp, 200g tofu, 150g egg

Seasoning: 10g onion juice, 5g ginger juice, 4g salt, 1g MSG, 5g cooking wine, 10g starch (corn), 2g sesame oil

Production process:

1. Dice the tofu, blanch it in boiling water and remove it;

2. Crack the eggs into a large bowl, add onion and ginger juice, salt, MSG, water, thicken with wet starch, then add diced tofu and mix well;

3. Put the fresh shrimps in a small bowl, add salt, MSG and cooking wine to marinate, then place them neatly on the diced tofu and egg mixture;

4. Put the large bowl of tofu into the steamer, steam over medium heat for 15 minutes, take out and drizzle with sesame oil.

2. Remove the head and shell of the fresh shrimp, leave the shrimp tail, remove the shrimp thread, and wash it clean

3. Cut off a small section next to the shrimp tail and set aside, chop the rest

4. Cut the carrot into 8 slices and set aside. Chop the rest into small pieces.

5. Cut the tofu into cubes and hollow out the middle as shown.

6. Chop ginger and garlic stalks

7. Put the minced shrimp, tofu, chopped carrots, chopped garlic stalks, and chopped ginger together, add appropriate amount of salt, light soy sauce, and a little black pepper, stir thoroughly with your hands until smooth, then add appropriate amount of sesame oil and mix well.

9. Place the carrot slices on a plate, then place the stuffed tofu in order, insert the shrimp tails for decoration, and

10. After the water in the steamer boils, add the tofu and shrimp and steam until cooked.

11. Pour the soup from the steamed tofu and shrimp into the pot, add appropriate amount of light soy sauce, a little oyster sauce, white vinegar, sesame oil, finely chopped bean paste, and water starch to make the soup.

12. Place the blanched broccoli on the edge, sprinkle with chopped green onions, and pour in the soup.

3. Cooking tips for steamed tofu with shrimp

1. The shrimp tail is left for decoration. You can make it according to your own preferences.

2. Don’t add too much carrots, just a little bit will do. Too much carrots will take away the delicious taste of the shrimps.

3. Just a little bit of bean paste is enough to enhance the flavor. Chop it into small pieces before use.

4. After putting the filling into the tofu, use a stainless steel spoon dipped in sesame oil to smooth the surface.
