How to cook braised rabbit meat?

Ingredients

raw material:

2 pounds of rabbit meat, 1 pound of water chestnuts, and 2 cloves of garlic.

seasoning:

2 pieces of fermented bean curd (red fermented bean curd), 2 tablespoons of chuhou sauce, 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of cooking wine, 1 tablespoon of five-spice powder, and a large piece of ginger.

Preparation method

1. Wash and chop 2 catties rabbit meat into pieces, and drain the water;

2. Peel and flatten a piece of ginger, peel the water chestnut and cut it in half, and cut the garlic into small sections;

3. Seasoning: 1 tablespoon of five-spice powder, 2 tablespoons of Chu Hou sauce, 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce, 2 cubes of fermented bean curd, and mix with water to make the seasoning;

4. After blanching the rabbit meat in boiling water, wash away the foam and drain the water;

5. Heat oil in a pan and sauté ginger until fragrant;

6. Pour in the rabbit meat and stir-fry over high heat for 1 minute;

7. Spray cooking wine;

8. Pour in the seasoning;

9. Continue to stir-fry over high heat for 2 minutes;

10. Add water to the water chestnuts. The water should cover the rabbit meat. Bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over medium-low heat for 1 hour. The water should remain boiling and the rabbit meat should be simmered until it is tender.

11. When the rabbit meat is tender, add the garlic segments and cook over high heat until the sauce thickens.

12. Serve on a plate.
