Honey baguette recipe

1. Prepare the materials. You can use warm water so that the fermentation will be faster.

2. After kneading the dough, let it ferment until it is 2.5 times larger (cover with plastic wrap to prevent the surface from hardening).

3. Divide the fermented dough into dough pieces of about 170g each (the size of the dough can be adjusted according to your needs).

4. Roll the dough into an oval shape, and roll it up from top to bottom into an olive shape with thin ends and a bulging middle, and pinch the two ends tightly.

5. Let the dough rest and ferment for 30 minutes.

6. Use a knife to make a few oblique cuts on the surface and spray a layer of water on the surface of the bread (spraying water can make the surface of the baguette crispy and shiny).

7. After the oven is preheated, put the bread into the oven, middle layer, upper and lower tubes at 170 degrees Celsius, 20 minutes (adjust according to your own oven, bake until the surface is golden brown).

8. Brush a layer of honey on the baguette while it’s still hot. It will be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The fragrant and sweet honey baguette is ready!
