How to make toffee sea salt muffins

1. Make toffee sauce: Add sugar and water to a small pot and bring to a boil. Continue to cook over medium-low heat, paying attention to the color change (no need to stir in the middle, just shake the pot). When it turns yellow, reduce the heat.

2. Boil the whipped cream in another pot and set aside.

3. When the sugar water turns amber, pour in the whipped cream, stir evenly, and add sea salt.

4. Soften the butter and add sugar and beat until the color becomes lighter.

5. Beat the egg liquid into the butter twice, add the toffee sauce and stir well, then add yogurt (the egg liquid and yogurt should be at room temperature. If the temperature is low, the butter will form small particles, which is not conducive to even mixing)

7. Preheat the oven to 180°, squeeze the batter into the mold (mine is a 12-piece mold), squeeze out a portion first, then add toffee sauce to each mold (the amount depends on your taste, I squeezed the size of a one-yuan coin), and squeeze the batter in the second time until it is 90% full

8. Add some toffee sauce to the batter, sprinkle with oatmeal, and put it in the preheated oven for 25-26 minutes.
