Banana Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Bring some ingredients home after work and cook a good meal. Even if the dishes are not so exquisite, they can still give people a sense of satisfaction. So don’t be lazy if you can cook for yourself. The method of banana-stuffed pumpkin pie is very simple and suitable for those "lazy people". It can also promote health to a certain extent.

1. Prepare the ingredients, steam the pumpkin and mash it into puree. If there is obvious water in the pumpkin puree, please drain it, because the more water there is, the more flour you add, and the less sweet the pumpkin will be.

2. Add butter and sugar to the warm pumpkin puree and mix them together. Then add glutinous rice flour and mix into a smooth, non-sticky soft dough. The water content of pumpkin is different, so glutinous rice flour needs to be added slowly. Increase or decrease the amount appropriately until it is no longer sticky, but not too dry or too soft. Adding butter can reduce the amount of oil absorbed when frying the pancakes later, and the pancakes will be more fragrant.

3. The dough does not need to be proofed. Divide the large dough into small pieces of similar weight and roll them into small balls. Banana slices about 3 mm thick

4. Take a small powder ball and press it into a small bowl shape with your thumb. Put a piece of banana in it.

5. Close the two sides, pinch them tightly, and then gently rub them into a round shape.

6. Gently flatten the dough into a pancake shape in the palm of your hand.

7. Sprinkle sesame seeds on the chopping board, put the pumpkin cake on it, and evenly coat both sides with sesame seeds.

8. Repeat steps 4 to 7 to make all the pumpkin pancakes. I didn’t have enough white sesame seeds, so I made a few black sesame ones, but I thought white sesame seeds looked better.

9. Heat oil in a frying pan over low heat until slightly hot. Add the pumpkin cakes and fry. Turn them over twice to prevent them from getting burnt.

10. Fry the pumpkin pancake until both sides are golden brown and slightly puffed, then turn off the heat. The bananas have melted into a liquid filling after being heated to high temperature.

11. Serve on a plate and enjoy slowly. The combination of the aroma of sesame and banana is really delicious!
