How to make Panlong meat pie

Although we can eat some delicious food when eating out, we should know that these things may not be so delicious in themselves, but because they are added with excessive seasonings. The method of making Panlong meat pie is simple. If you don’t want to eat too much seasoning, you might as well learn to make it at home.

1. Add boiling water to the flour, little by little, and stir with chopsticks.

2. Add boiling water to about half of the total water used, then start adding cold water and continue stirring with chopsticks. Stop adding water when there is still a small amount of dry noodles in the basin.

3. Knead the dough with your hands and cover with plastic wrap for 30 minutes.

4. Start mixing the stuffing when the sugar surface is cooked. Add appropriate amount of salt, chopped green onion, five-spice powder, soy sauce, crushed black pepper, and oyster sauce (you can add more) to the minced lean beef. Use chopsticks to stir in one direction to make the meat stuffing firm. If the stuffing feels dry, add a little water and stir again. Be sure to add the water little by little, don't add too much at once.

5. Mix the beef filling.

6. Use a piping bag or a plastic bag (I use a plastic bag), put the filling in, cut a hole about one centimeter in diameter in one corner, and set aside.

7. Take a piece of dough and roll it into a round strip about 30 cm long and 2 cm wide.

8. Press flat with your hands.

9. Use a rolling pin to roll it out first vertically and then horizontally, to about three fingers wide.

10. Squeeze the meat filling from the opening of the plastic bag and place it in the center of the dough.

11. The squeezed appearance.

12. Fold the surface from one end and pinch it tightly.

13. Everything looks done.

14. Roll up from one end, with the interface at the bottom, and press the last end underneath.

15. Add a little oil to the non-stick pan.

16. Put the meat patties into the hot pan. Fry the pancakes over medium-low heat.

17. The cake is done when both sides are golden brown.
